Author: D Swain

Black Rot

Petal Blight<br />
Brown Spot
Unlike the aforementioned orchid diseases, brown spot is caused by bacteria. This disease can be caused by cool and wet conditions and is very deadly. The first sign of brown spot is a watery, brown blister located on a leaf. The blister will quickly enlarge and affect the whole leaf. If the disease reaches the crown, your plant will die. You should remove all infected leaves with sterile cutting tools and treat the plant with Physan 20.
