The Anxiety Lie is great a new self help program for dealing with anxiety. This program has been created by Rich Presta who also created Driving Fear for people with driving phobias and Panic Puzzle for learning to eliminate panic attacks. I found the title curious and I was interested to find out what this “Lie” actually is. The “Lie” refers to Rich Presta’s opinion that the vast majority of anxiety self help programs deliberately don’t reveal the whole truth. He says that far too many authors will tell you what they think you want to hear so that you feel better about yourself. This means that they aren’t challenging you enough to leave the safety of your comfort zone. The Anxiety Lie will encourage you to come out of your comfort zone right from the start and it will be quite firm with you in what you have to do. If you are determined to overcome your anxiety you will probably appreciate the way it has been written. The author makes it perfectly clear that his intention is to make you BE BETTER and has no interest in making your FEEL BETTER. Other programs will let you get away with using your anxiety as an excuse as they make it okay for you to be anxious. Accepting your own anxiety is the same thing as saying to yourself that you don’t have to improve yourself. People who are successful in life are always looking ahead to their next challenge to improve themselves. Anxiety is not okay if it stops you from taking the necessary steps to improve yourself.

He will show you how to uncover what has caused your anxiety. Contrary to what you may have heard elsewhere The Anxiety Lie will show you how your anxiety is all your own fault. Even if the root cause of your anxiety is the result of childhood traua inflicted by other people you still choose how you react to that anxiety. Hearing this might make you feel angry to begin with, but once it has sunk in it is actually a relief to hear this. What he is trying to tell you by making you responsible for your own anxiety is that you have the power to change it.
As well the 95 page Anxiety Lie eBook you also get an audio version of the book that you can listen to. The most valuable part of the program however is the “Rescue Audio Session”. This is an MP3 track that you can listen to anywhere that will walk you through the techniques should you start to experience anxiety. Compared to the other programs available The Anxiety Lie doesn’t really offer anything different. Whatever the anxiety program the advice and techniques are usually pretty much the same. But what makes this one stand out is the way that it is written. Its bluntness is its main selling point as it wastes no time ramming home its message and goes straight to the point of telling you what you need to do.
The Anxiety Lie is a great product but I recommend you read what Rich Presta has to say on his website as he makes it perfectly clear that this product is not for everyone.
