Do Things You Love To Reinvigorate Your Life
As you get older it may seem like keeping your dreams alive becomes more difficult. It may only seem natural that you put your dreams on the shelf because real life responsibilities have gotten in the way. Yes, it may be more difficult to pursue the things you love when you have to think about putting food on the table and making the mortgage payment. It may be difficult but not impossible.
Your dreams may appear in bright colors in your mind, but you see the road to achieving these dreams in dull black and white images. The process that involves capturing your dreams and translating them into reality may seem thorny. This is a normal part of the process, and as the cliche goes, no pain - no gain.
If you at stuck at a dead end position at your job and the only way to move forward is by getting a particular degree, then begin by making a decision. Living a messy lifestyle can be stressful. If you have started to feel this stress it may now be the time to get organized. Simplifying your closets can be the place to start. Many people carry over emotional problems from previous relationships, or even childhood events and traumas. Can’t Lose Weight? It’s Not That Difficult When You Know How
Really think you can’t lose weight? Any reasons why you think that you can’t shed a bit of flab? It’s a sad fact that most people firmly believe they can’t lose weight. They think the weight loss demons are stopping them from them from dieting with a magical spell or something.
Realty is that deep down they don’t really wanna lose any weight. They are happy living the lifestyle they are living. Yet they still tell themselves they would like to lose a few pounds but they can’t, or don’t know how.
Losing weight is no big deal. It’s a mathematical equation, pure and simple. We eat (calories) and we burn (calories) off. If we eat more than we burn off we get fat. Period.
The other perspective is that you will lose weight if you burn off more than you eat. And herein lies the problem. Today’s average diet is so calorie laden it’s a joke. If you put side by side what you ate every day, against what you should eat you’d be so surprised you’d need a lie down.
Let’s look at a simple example, side bends as an exercise for love handles. Doing lots and lots of these will make you lose weight. How many you have to do is anyones guess as it’s simply a balancing act between burning calories and eating calories.
You can quite easily take in a whole days allowance of calories in one meal. Seriously! Fast food carries a huge amount of blame. Even the non sweet stuff can be packed with sugar. You will feel hungry again in much less time if you eat sugary stuff.
Our body converts most foods into a simple sugar called glucose, and uses this for energy. You can start to feel hungry again quite quickly after eating sugary foods as they get used up by the body very quickly. Some view our current (sugar packed) diets as a western world conspiracy to get us eating more, and ultimately spending more on food.
We eat more, we spend more, and they get rich! Big corporations that is. A simple formula for the big corporations to get rich. What’s the easiest way to get us to eat more? Add sugar to everything.
Like in a bar when there’s peanuts or pretzels on the bar to nibble on. We eat the salt and get thirsty so we buy more beer. So, in conclusion to all this, the fact of the matter is you will lose weight by simply eating slightly less than you burn off. Can you do this on your own? I doubt it as the western worlds collective willpower is on the floor.
