What causes panic attacks? Almost anything can trigger (cause) a panic attack. In your case, you might not even know.
My wife suffered panic attacks at one innocent looking junction when she drove the car. She was suddenly in a vice like grip every time she drove towards that one junction. Rapid heart beat and shortness of breath within seconds.
But your panic attacks causes could be any number of things. But I’m willing to bet it’s the same underlying thing. Could be a crowded area. Any crowded area will set them off.
It’s possible that you don’t know your panic attacks causes. It’s important to find out what they are though. It can help enormously in combating the symptoms.
It’ll help if you can spot what your trigger or triggers are. When you do, and you will, start to take back control over these panic attacks. You can see if you’re improving by using these triggers as a test.
I realise I’ve got a bit ahead of things here. Waffling on about triggers and tests. It may come as welcome news to you that you can cure your attacks with a technique that uses no drugs whatsoever.
A technique that you can use when you feel an attack on the horizon. There are literally thousands of people using this method, almost day in day out. They are finally in control and are anxiety free.
Most importantly, these techniques are totally drug free. So, you don’t have to keep shelling out for repeat prescriptions. Of course, this also means no side effects.
You can quickly teach yourself these techniques. If you feel an attack looming you start using the techniques you have learned. It may not be an instant cure, but you’ll get better each time you use these techniques.
Let’s go back to tests and triggers. You can use your triggers to almost cause an attack and test how good you are with these techniques. As your skills get stronger you can easily kill the attacks when they start.
Will you stay like you are and risk more attacks? Or would you like to discover what your panic attacks causes are and learn to control them. Click this link to find & cure your panic attacks causes.

What Are The Benefits Of Meditation?
Stress affects people in different ways. I personally feel very tired and lethargic during these periods and start to worry about things, like a future event.
Other people suffer from panic attacks, become very shaky and nervous, feel sick in the stomach, become sad and can begin to think in a very negative way.
Most of the conditions I have described above are actually a mental and not so much of a physical problem. This is why I believe meditation to be an excellent form of stress relief or stress management.
I know all about the benefits of meditation and stress. Stuttering ruined my early life and caused me to lose a lot of my self-confidence. I worked hard to stop stuttering and was eventually rewarded with fluency at the age of 21.
Stress and worry also affected my work life within the composite door company where I held quite a senior position. At time I would worry far too much about the trivialities of work.
Positive effects of meditation:
It reduces your heart rate
It relaxes your breathing and can even make it slower
It can lower blood pressure
It can increase your self-esteem by making you think in a more positive way
Helps you to think in a more logical and clear way
Helps you to reduce stress
Some of the forms of meditation:
Walking meditation
Mandala meditation
Yoga meditation
Sitting meditation
Prayer meditation
Visualisation meditation
I personally prefer the sitting meditation. I try to make time around three of four times a day when I will sit down to meditate. Originally I had a lack of belief about what I was doing and about if it would work. I found it difficult at this stage to get myself into the zone. With practice and realising that I needed this to work for me, I managed to get enough concentration and focus to see the full benefits.
A lot of the people in my circle of friends think that I am a bit mad, including my best friends Dave and Pete who work providing people with web promotion tips. They can not believe that I actually just sit there and think. Meditation has had such a positive effect on my life and continues to do so, therefore my friends can mock as much as they like. I have suggested that they these people also try meditation - they just snigger at their mere thought of it - perhaps they are scared, I have no idea. I am the one who is really laughing as I am just so happy that I have found something that is of great benefit to me.

Panic attack treatment. You may well be asking if there even is one. A drug free cure?
Well I can tell you from personal experience that there is a “cure” that doesn’t use drugs. Although the word “cure” isn’t totally right. You don’t get to take a spoon full of medicine and it’s miraculously cured. But you do get to stop them for good.
I crashed a motorcycle and started to suffer panic attacks afterwards. I was given every possible drug to try. Nothing worked properly, plus I knew as soon as I came off the drugs any benefit would be lost.
This is the bad thing about drugs and panic attacks. Even if they work they are going to stop working once you stop the drugs. Any decent doctor won’t let you take drugs for any length of time.
You can’t keep taking medication for ever. And it all starts over again. And when the attacks come back, they are worse because you’ve been dreading them for a while.
So the ideal solution is a drug free social anxiety treatment, yes? I can give you hope now because I know there is one, I use it! I control my anxiety attacks, they don’t control me.

I suffered random anxiety attacks that wrecked my life. I actually know what kicks my anxiety episodes off so “random” isn’t strictly true. Crowds are what trigger an attack for me. Only has to be three or more people and bang!
I would run like hell if I got near a small group of people. I did realise that it was all in my head, there was no “real” danger. But, I just had to run or risk death.
I did an awful lot of research and spent what seemed like a life time trying to find a permanent cure. Although it took a while, it was worth it in the end. I saw a lot of doctors and not one ever mentioned the cure I unearthed.
Your choices are, keep taking the (almost useless) drugs. Or you can discover what it is that I use every time I feel a twinge of an attack. I kill it in its tracks and simply move on.

Beat Anxiety With The Anxiety Lie
The Anxiety Lie is great a new self help program for dealing with anxiety. This program has been created by Rich Presta who also created Driving Fear for people with driving phobias and Panic Puzzle for learning to eliminate panic attacks. I found the title curious and I was interested to find out what this “Lie” actually is. The “Lie” refers to Rich Presta’s opinion that the vast majority of anxiety self help programs deliberately don’t reveal the whole truth. He says that far too many authors will tell you what they think you want to hear so that you feel better about yourself. This means that they aren’t challenging you enough to leave the safety of your comfort zone. It was immediately apparent that The Anxiety Lie was going to be different to anything else I had ever read.
Click Here to Visit the Anxiety Lie website
The Anxiety Lie will encourage you to come out of your comfort zone right from the start and it will be quite firm with you in what you have to do. If you are determined to overcome your anxiety you will probably appreciate the way it has been written. The author makes it perfectly clear that his intention is to make you BE BETTER and has no interest in making your FEEL BETTER. Other programs will let you get away with using your anxiety as an excuse as they make it okay for you to be anxious. Accepting your own anxiety is the same thing as saying to yourself that you don’t have to improve yourself. People who are successful in life are always looking ahead to their next challenge to improve themselves. Anxiety is not okay if it stops you from taking the necessary steps to improve yourself.
There is no holding the author back when he decides you have spent long enough stuck in your comfort zone. Rich Presta will show you that action is the best reaction to anxiety. He will show you how to uncover what has caused your anxiety. Contrary to what you may have heard elsewhere The Anxiety Lie will show you how your anxiety is all your own fault. Even if the root cause of your anxiety is the result of childhood traua inflicted by other people you still choose how you react to that anxiety. Hearing this might make you feel angry to begin with, but once it has sunk in it is actually a relief to hear this. What he is trying to tell you by making you responsible for your own anxiety is that you have the power to change it.
As well the 95 page Anxiety Lie eBook you also get an audio version of the book that you can listen to. The most valuable part of the program however is the “Rescue Audio Session”. This is an MP3 track that you can listen to anywhere that will walk you through the techniques should you start to experience anxiety. Compared to the other programs available The Anxiety Lie doesn’t really offer anything different. Whatever the anxiety program the advice and techniques are usually pretty much the same. But what makes this one stand out is the way that it is written. Its bluntness is its main selling point as it wastes no time ramming home its message and goes straight to the point of telling you what you need to do.
The Anxiety Lie is a great product but I recommend you read what Rich Presta has to say on his website as he makes it perfectly clear that this product is not for everyone.

How to Prevent Panic Attacks
If you suffer from panic attacks there are several methods that you can use to help {stop them. ~If you experience panic attacks there are methods that you can learn that will help stop them. }The key to controlling your panic attacks is to confront your fear and feel as though you want to experience a panic attack. By doing this you can disempower the fear before it can develop into a fully blown panic attack. As crazy and scary as this sounds this method does actually work. It’s the fear of something that draws the panic towards you. Instead of fearing the panic, you must try and want to experience the panic. When you want to experience a panic attack it reduces the level of fear and so the panic will subside.
A panic attacks occurs at the point when you make a decision in your mind that the current fearful situation is beyond your ability to deal with. Panic attacks begin at the moment that you feel that you are no longer in control of the present situation. Avoiding situations that you fear experiencing will only cause your fear to persist. In order to overcome the fear you have to confront the fear. This will probably be very scary for you but with repeated exposure the fear will start to diminish.
If you are looking for expert help for overcoming panic attacks the best products are Rich Presta’s Panic Away and Charles Linden’s Linden Method. They both have extremely high success rates and either one of them will be sure to help you.
Panic attack sufferers will dread the scary sensations that arrive with each attack and they will often believe that what they are experiencing is harmful or that they might even die. Please be reassured that you cannot be harmed by panic attacks as they are only sensations. This has been proven countless times and is a medical fact.
The mind of a panic or anxiety suffer will often be filled with worry. This causes attention to become focused at the top of the head. The best way to help reduce your anxiety is to become more centred as this will take the focus of attention away from your head. You should try and find the time to do some relaxation exercises such as yoga, mediation or Tai Chi. Finding a relaxing hobby is a great way to control your anxiety. Learning how to relax is crucial to overcoming your anxiety.
Panic attacks often begin with a shortness of breath. There are breathing exercises that you can do to slow down your breathing. The next time you feel the onset of a panic attack try and focus your attention on your breathing and slow it down by taking longer and deeper breaths. This will slow down your heart rate which will have increased due to the panic and will restore calm. You should try to exhale as much air from your lungs as possible as this will automatically help you to inhale deeper with each in breath. By taking slow and deep breaths you will notice that it will help to calm your mind.
Associating past events that were traumatic for you with what is occurring in the here and now can often trigger panic attacks. So try and maintain your focus in the present by taking your mind off what has happened in the past or your worries about the future. You can do this by paying more attention to what is going on around you. Notice the colours and pay attention to the sounds and smells. Use your sense of touch as well by feeling objects or stroking or holding a pet.
Aromatherapy oils such as lavender have a calming and soothing effect on the body and mind if you smell them. You can carry these with you to be used whenever you need them. Bach Flower remedies also work well with anxiety especially the one known as “Rescue Remedy”.
Keeping an anxiety journal is a good idea where you write notes about the things that you most fear. Next to all the things that your find fearful you should write down something that would calm that fear. When you find yourself in one of these situations again, try repeating these calming things to yourself.

Is Panic Away Any Good?
Review by Mike Sanderson
If I had to recommend one particular product for anxiety and panic attack sufferers it would be Joe Barry’s Panic Away program as that is the one that helped me the most. Whatever your anxiety disorder; whether it’s panic attacks, phobias, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, agoraphobia or obsessive compulsive disorder, the Panic Away system is designed to work with all of them. There are chapters on specific phobias such as the fear of driving and public speaking. Joe Barry is very good at explaining his techniques in a very simple and clear common sense style. He claims that every single person can eliminate their anxiety by following the Panic Away Program without any exceptions.
Click Here to visit the Panic Away website
Joe Barry used to suffer from panic attacks for many years so he knows how to present his information to his readers as he has been in their same situation before. The methods that he teaches you in the Panic Away book are the same methods that he used to overcome his own panic attacks. When you read Panic Away you will be taught a completely natural method that you can use to eliminate your anxiety and panic attacks. The reason the Panic Away program is so successful is due to a simple technique called the One Move technique. Once you have learned and applied this technique you will have at your disposal a powerful method that can quickly eliminate panic attacks before you are overwhelmed by them. You will find that your anxiety levels will become controllable. When you are able to control your anxiety levels there can be no more panic attacks.
The book contain case studies illustrating how people have used the One Move technique. These demonstrate how people with different types of anxiety disorders and phobias have used the Panic Away techniques to overcome their phobias, panic attacks and anxiety. Being able to read about real people with similar anxiety issues and phobias to yourself is a great indicator that the system will work for you too. There are other people like you and they do get better using these techniques. As a sufferer of panic or anxiety you already know that it can be a confusing and lonely experience. It’s a great help and comfort to read about how other people have succeeded in overcoming anxiety.
The book also teaches you how to eliminate unwanted and anxious thoughts. This is something that all anxiety sufferers will benefit from but it will be of even more importance to those who suffer from obsessive compulsive disorder. There are also chapters on exercise, diet and nutrition and the role that they all play in influencing your anxiety levels. You will be taught how to change your diet to include healthier foods that can reduce your anxiety levels.
There is another powerful technique called Thought Field Therapy that you will be taught. This also often called Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT. This works in a similar way to acupuncture but you tap on certain points of the body to release emotional stress. The One Move technique is so effective that by the time you even get to this chapter you will probably already have all the knowledge you need to overcome your anxiety.
The Panic Away program also provides unlimited one-to-one coaching from Joe Barry. So if there is anything you don’t understand or you are struggling to apply the techniques to your particular anxiety problem, then help is at hand. The Panic Away program has helped thousands of people and there are many video testimonials on the website. The program comes with a 100% money back guarantee if you find that the system hasn’t worked for you after 8 weeks of trying it.
I highly recommend that you try out the Panic Away program because it really works and Joe Barry is great person to have coaching you.
