You will need some supplies to get started: a scrapbook, various types of pages, good scissors, glue, etc. In order to preserve any irreplaceable photos or clippings, make sure to use only acid-free, archival quality pages. I start a scrapbook by organizing the photos by date and event. Now is a good time to throw out all the duplicate, fuzzy, and really bad photos. Now start with the first pile and spread them out on a big table or the floor. Chose the best photos and put them together to tell the story of what happened. Leave room for a title of the occasion, the date, who, what, and anything else interesting. This information is very important to record now when it’s fresh in your mind.
Create variety and interest by adding other things besides photos. Start at the very beginning with shower invitations, a copy of the birth certificate, birth announcement, thumb and foot prints. Later, add school reports, newspaper clippings, school athletic letters, ribbons and awards, clubs, interests, anything meaningful.
As long as you make the scrapbook for your new baby with love, it’ll be a perfect keepsake that he’ll treasure his whole life.

If you are like me, you love Cricut and creating beautiful pieces of art. But one can never have enough ideas - that’s why I want to tell you ma favorite tricks to be more creative and get the most out of your cricut essentials.
But how can you get even more, even better ideas? In my opinion, the spark of creativity is already in all of us. It’s actually true if you think about it. We have great ideas all the time. We don’t only have Cricut ideas, of course. The problem is that we tend to forget them just as fast as we get them. Of all our ideas we probably don’t even remember a quarter, let alone turn it into reality.
My advice: Use a diary to catch the ideas and use the full potential of your creativity! The sooner you get a small book or pocket diary, the better. Then you take it with you wherever you go. It doesn’t have to be a large book. A small one that you feel comfortable carrying with you is much better of a choice.
Now, as soon as you have a good thought or great idea just write it down and read everything again later when you have time to sit down.
